Park City

Park City is one of the most accessible year-round destinations in North America, located 25 miles southeast of Salt Lake City International Airport.

Best known as the home of the annual Sundance Film Festival and host of several events during the 2002 Winter Olympics, Park City is a well-known ski and snowboarding destination and outdoor enthusiasts’ dream. Winter activities off the slopes include snow biking, dog sledding, fly-fishing and snowmobiling.

As any local will tell you, there’s just as much magic off the mountain. Popular options include a visit to the Park City Museum, catching a show at the famed Egyptian Theater, enjoying a variety of dining options or shopping at the numerous shops and galleries on Historic Main Street.

Deer valley

Deer Valley is an alpine ski resort in the Wasatch Mountain Range, located 26 miles east of Salt Lake City International Airport, in the historic mining town of Park City, Utah. Deer Valley was a venue site during the 2002 Winter Olympics, hosting the freestyle moguls, aerial and alpine slalom events.

In addition to being known for its upscale amenities, Deer Valley is consistently ranked among the top ski resorts in North America. Deer Valley was ranked first overall in SKI magazine’s 2017 reader resort survey, receiving first place ratings in the categories of grooming, service, lodging and kid-friendliness.

Deer Valley has received top 10 ratings in the categories of snow, lifts, weather, apres-ski, off-hill activities, access, dining, on-mountain food and overall satisfaction. At the annual World Ski Awards, Deer Valley Resort® has won the award for best ski resort in the United States for six consecutive years (2012 to 2018).

FROM SALT LAKE CITY & AIRPORT
  • Take the I-80 E/I-80 W ramp to Cheyenne/Reno/S.L. International Airport/Las Vegas.
  • Follow signs for I-15 S/I-80 E/Cheyenne/Las Vegas merging onto I-15 S/I-80 E.
  • Take exit 4 merging onto I-15 S/I-80 E. Use the right 3 lanes to take exit 304 E for I-80 toward Cheyenne.
  • In approximately 25 miles take exit 146 for US-40 E toward Heber/Vernal.
  • Take exit 4 toward Park City/Kamas, follow UT-248 E to Tuhaye Park Drive.
FROM SALT LAKE CITY & AIRPORT
